If you want to find cheap helicopters, you need to know first exactly which type of helicopter you want.
Several of the models that can be found both in die cast and as remote controlled models include: the Hughes helicopter, several types of Swift helicopters, the Silverlit helicopter, the Raptor helicopter, and the famous Airwolf helicopter. In addition, any of the Japanese Hirobo helicopters and the RC turbine helicopters are great flying models for the more experienced pilot. If you are looking for the cheapest die cast model, you’ll want to be sure not to sacrifice the size of the model during the process of shopping. If size is important, be thorough in your observation of the helicopter’s dimensions. If, however, you are looking for the cheapest of the self-assembled models, be sure to determine whether you want an electric or fuel powered model. Usually the largest models only offer fuel powered models, which can be quite expensive for both purchase and upkeep of the helicopter! If a slightly smaller model is acceptable, I would suggest purchasing any of the electric Japanese Hirobo helicopters.
